Happy Halloweening!
Yay! Halloween! Bring on the fun, the costumes, the sweets, and the eats! This is hands down my favorite holiday. And a great excuse to throw a party.
Every year our family hosts a ‘Pre-Trick or Treat’ Party. We invite family, friends, and neighbors for a sweet-free, pre-candy meal. It’s fun for the kids, gets everyone fed, and cures my craving to host a party! But what’s even more fun than the party itself is the planning! And wow do I spent way too much time on this! But it’s ok, because I’m justifying all my Pinterest surfing this year as research! Enjoy the fruits of my labor! It was really hard work but somebody had to do it! 😉
Here’s my collection of easy, creative, and sometimes healthy ideas for your upcoming Halloween festivities.
School Party
Apple Teeth – Sunbutter is a good alternative to peanut butter.
These spiders are also cute wrapped around Halloween pencils.
Chocolate Cupcake Owls – Oreos and M&Ms or Reeses Pieces.
Chocolate Cookies with Candy Corn and Red Hots. Fork prints for the whiskers.
Dinner for a Crowd
Slow Cooker Short Rib BBQ Stuffed Potatoes.
Slow Cooker BBQ Pork Sandwiches.
Hope these got your creative juices flowing! Share your ideas with us too! Happy Halloween!!
