Obviously you cannot sustain on junk food alone, but if you are in a celebratory situation, dealing with a broken heart, or just plain want to reward yourself, it’s perfectly okay to allow yourself an indulgence from time to time. The same advice goes to other luxuries. If you received a promotion and want to treat yourself to a new gadget, that is completely reasonable. Just make sure that you don’t make this a weekly habit.

There are extensive benefits to exercising, all involving the physical and the mental. However, you are limiting those benefits by forcing yourself to do something you hate. Pick an activity that you enjoy doing, such as hiking, canoeing, dancing, swimming, etc. You are more likely to stick with something that you love, and you will even start to look forward to it. Working out can include more than just going to the gym.

There’s a reason that this saying has stuck around for so long. Many of us become so easily distracted by the past or future that we often neglect the present. This phrase is a great reminder for us to just live in the moment. Enjoy the little things in life that make living special, and be grateful for all that you have. Concentrate on this and you will be able to seize the day.

Be kind to your body.

Most of us are so critical on ourselves, especially when it comes to our physical appearance. Focus on the things you love about yourself, whether it be your eyes, arms, hands, whatever part that makes you feel beautiful. Embrace yourself. Be appreciate of your health.
